Memorial Bricks Installed at the St. Michael’s / Armed Forces Prayer Garden — September 2026

Our council’s sponsored bricks, honoring Fr. James Leone (US Navy, Chaplain) and Michael Lankau (US Army, Vietnam), are now in place at the St. Michael’s / Armed Forces Prayer Garden at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island in Manorville. Watched over by a statue of St. Michael the Archangel and surrounded by the emblems of every branch of the armed forces, the garden is a beautiful, peaceful place to pray for and remember those who have served. We’re proud and grateful that Council 4126 has a small part in honoring them there. If you visit the Shrine, please stop by the garden and say a prayer for our veterans.
